Open Division:
(compare to a Men's A/B league - open to both men's and coed teams)
$500 cash prize for winners plus a free entry for 2013! 30 team limit. Open to all hockey players age 18 yrs and older or 15yrs + with parents consent. Teams are guaranteed 4 games in round robin style play + more if you make it to the bracket playoff tournament. From ex-NHLers to childhood stars and equivalent talents of a Men's A/B league, you'll find many skill levels at a laid back, but competitively fun atmosphere. The champion team will be looking to take over posession of the perrenial Pabst Champion Trophy.
Pabst League & 35+ Pabst League:
(compare to a Men's C/D/E league - open to both men's and coed teams. 35+ League: teams of 4 all players must be 35+, teams of 5 must have at least 4 players age 35+, teams of 6 must have 5 players age 35+

skaters should be equivalent to Men's C/D/E leagues, hockey experience for most players ranging from high school/midget to youth hockey (back in the day) as well as those who have picked up hockey a bit later in life. It has some competitive touches, but is also great for those teams looking for a more casual and fun tournament.
Teams are guaranteed 4 games in round robin style play + more if you make it to the bracket playoff tournament. Winners take engraving rights on the perrenial Pabst League Trophy!
Women's Division:
(women's only league - no men or boys, sorry)
Winners take home sweet prizes plus a free entry in 2013! 16 team limit. Open to all women ages 18 yrs and older. Many skill levels persist in this division, from Women's league teams to collegiate clubs and last minute thrown together teams. Teams are guaranteed 4 games in round robin play + more if you make the finals. The best women on the ice will take home the women's perennial Pabst Champion Trophy! Oh, and their name will be engraved on it fooooorever!
tournament setup
Each of the divisions are set up identically. Your team will first be placed in a round robin pool with other random teams within your division. Your team will play four games in this pool. After the four games, top teams from each pool will move on to the finals bracket. In the event there is a tie, the team with the most 'Goals For' will advance. If it is still tied, the team with the least 'Goals Against' will advance. If there is still a tie, there will be a sudden death game.
Teams will play games on both Saturday and Sunday with playoffs on Sunday afternoon and the championship games Sunday night.

Players Bench will be on hand to provide skate sharpenings and equipment solutions and of course we will be providing free Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. The venue has a large warming tent and firepit where you will be able to get prepared for your games, leave belongings, and grab a warm cup of coffee or hot chocolate. There will also be food vendors on hand with delicious and hot food!
