The Schlitz Pond Fishin tournament is held in
correlation to the Pabst Colorado Pond Hockey
Tournament, now in its 4th year.
Why an ice fishing tournament? The answer is pretty simple... We're already on frozen ice, and there are fish below. Duh! No, seriously... This is a great addition to the pond hockey tournament and a great outlet for fundraising projects for the Colorado Youth Hockey Foundation (CYHF). Proceeds go to the CYHF as well!
Also, during the pond hockey tournament, there is 'down time' between games for teams and players, many of which are all-around outdoor enthusiasts. We had interest from players for an ice fishing tournament, so here it is!
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Day 1
- Fishing begins: Saturday, Feb 18th at 8am.
- Day 1 ends: 5pm
Day 2
- Fishing begins: Sunday, Feb 19th at 8am.
- Fishing ends: 12:00pm.
